To mark the Golden Jubilee of the Cleveland and Teesside Local History Society, we are holding a Jubilee Meal, in association with Middlesbrough College, at which the menu will pay homage to the dining-out experience of 1968.
As well as a three-course meal, prepared and served by the catering students of Middlesbrough College, diners will also enjoy an entertaining and informative talk about how dining and food have changed over the past fifty years.
It is often said that food can awaken memories: that is exactly what we hope to achieve with the celebration meal.
