Local history month will be upon us soon, and to celebrate this we are going to host a book sale, including hundreds of books in the collection of the late Jacky Quarmby. Jacky was a great friend to our society, and long term supporter and committee member of the CTLHS.
We will be inviting members of the other societies that Jacky was a supporter of, and monies raised will be donated to the Guisborough Museum, an institution close to Jacky’s heart.
All are welcome – refreshments will be available, and it will be a lovely opportunity to connect with other members of the societies…as well as to add to your own libraries!
Where and When?
The sale will be held on Saturday, May 4th, 10am – 12 noon, in Sunnyfield House, 36 Westgate, Guisborough TS14 6BA.
The museum is just behind this – so why not pay them a visit too?
There is limited parking spaces on site – however, there should be plenty of other parking in Guisborough itself.
Strictly cash only, please – there are cash machines locally.
