The Society organises a number of walks and visits to places of historical interest.

These events often have the benefit of the expertise of a historian or someone else closely connected with the location, to give an insight into the place and its history.

Sometimes the visits are to places not normally open to members of the public, or involve ‘behind the scenes’ tours.

Our next walk is…

Wednesday 15 June 2016
A Guided Walk Around Egglescliffe, with Archaeologist Robin Daniels

Previous walks attended by Members of the Society have included

Wednesday 13 May 2015
A Guided Walk Around Helmsley in the company of former Society Chairman Barry Harrison

Wednesday 3 June 2015

Thursday 16 July 2015
