If you would like to attend our history walks around Skelton, led by local expert Peter Appleton, now is your last chance to sign up.
From the parish church of All Saints’ on the High Street to Old All Saints’ parish church is almost exactly 900 yards. Within that short distance there is visible evidence of history from c.1105 through to 2021. It should prove to be very interesting.
There are two dates to choose from – Saturday 4th September at 2pm, and Tuesday 7th September at 2pm.
The tours are in small groups and take place entirely outdoors. The going is mainly flat, although there is a steady climb back up to the village green from the old church.
Spaces are strictly limited, and available on a first-come-first-served basis.
If you would like to attend either, please email Matt on mattfalcus@hotmail.com ASAP.
