The 2023 Annual General Meeting of Cleveland & Teesside Local History Society will take place on Saturday 15 April at 10am.
It will be a brief meeting held at the Dorman Museum in Middlesbrough, and will be followed by two interesting talks to mark the end of our Winter Programme.
The first talk is entitled The Families of Ingleby Manor, and is by speaker Geoff Taylor
Ingleby Manor is a building dating from the late medieval period, although parts may be older. Geoff Taylor gives a talk on the families that lived there.
The second talk has the title War Kids – Stories of Yorkshire and the North East, and is given by Caroline Brannigan
It looks at the stories of children who stayed at home in Yorkshire and the North East during World War II, with some fascinating tales of what went on during this dark period.
It is free to attend these talks, and we’d love to see you there.
