Cleveland and Teesside Local History Society was founded in 1968.
This year it celebrates its fiftieth anniversary.
This Day School is an opportunity to reflect on the development of local history studies over the past fifty years, to celebrate some achievements– not just those of CTLHS but those of other societies and groups in the Cleveland and Teesside area – in that time, and to look to the future.
We have brought together some popular local speakers from local societies to provide insights into their experiences.
We will also have displays by other societies and groups.
All of which will provide food for thought as we look forward to the next fifty years.
