The Cleveland and Teesside Local History Society publishes and sells a number of local history publications.
Our own publications include:
- Our Bulletin, ‘Cleveland History’, is issued free to members twice a year. It is noted for its high standard and its variety of topics – there is always something to interest everyone.
- A regular Newsletter is distributed to Members on a regular basis: this contains short articles based on the research interests of Members, news and views, book reviews and details of forthcoming activities.
- We also publish occasional books on aspects of the history of the area
If you are unable to attend any of the events at which our publications are on sale, you can still order them by contacting our Publications Secretary, Ian Stubbs, or the Editor of Cleveland History, Val Harrison, stating which publications you are interested in, and providing your address details. You will then be provided with details of the cost, including postage, and advised how you may pay.

We have a limited amount of editions of Cleveland History in our stores. If there are any you require, please contact Val Harrison (valharrison@live.co.uk) to see which copies are available. Most are at the cost of 50p plus postage, but numbers 95, 100 and 113 are £2.50 to include postage.
If we do not have a paper edition, we can, by arrangement, scan or photocopy articles that you require. Please ask Val for more details.
